Buffet and China Cabinet

Was inherited from my aunt 25 yrs ago, we are not sure where it came from as it was not purchased new. The buffet has a label from the Loomis and Hart Furniture company. We would like to know what it is made of, possible time frame and value. It has been beat up from 3 terrible children :).  Any information would be helpful.
