Description

These paintings (2) are both of birds that are red in color in among white flowers (magnolias? - not sure.) The first painting has birds that are cardinals in it. The second painting has two red birds also - but are not cardinals. The paintings are both the same size and both have C. Lockhardt signature on the bottom.  In addition, it says it is a litho on the bottom right, and the left side says Morris and Bendien, Inc. N.Y. In addition the no. 38506 and 38505 (cardinals picture.)

Both are in a plain beige frame that they came in (I haven't changed,) with one of the painting  having been removed at some point ((matting can be removed,) and the other painting has not been removed from the frame.

History Bought at a garage sale, love the red birds and flowers in pic. I know nothing about this artist but he/she was talented, colors are beautiful. The man who sold it to me told me to take good care of it (so either he was attached to it or it is worth something.)

Hello and thank you for your interest. I did sell these paintings at a garage sale. I finally bit the bullet and sold them to free up space. So sorry-
