Someone on ebay is disputing that this item is authentic. doll is mint in box with sealed birth certificate. I would like someone to authenticate this to prove to the buyer that this is a real cabbage patch baby from 1986 (aprox). Mint condition, adult collection, non smoking home. never been played with.

I'm not sure what your eBay person is seeing, but this Baby looks authentic to me. I am not an expert on value of these, so I can't help you there, but the Baby looks fine and unaltered/all pieces correct.
