My uncle purchased these vases in China in 1946, I think they are possible carved cinnebar. They are 8 1/2 inches tall and 14 inches around at fullest part. The inside appears to be some kind of metal. Any info and possible vallue is greatly appreciated.

Re: Carved Cinnebar Vases
It's def. red laquer cinnabar. I'm no expert be they are very detailed. They might be really old.
Would suggest appraisal by an expert (*or christies/sothebys).
The new pieces with blue inside already sell for 250 dollar so this might be worth a lot!
