I don't really know much about this item, but was hoping to get a little information on it's history and value. Thanks.

Looks to be ceramic, glazed
Distinguishing marks
Pears and grapes painted on front, gold lining around rim and handle. Germany stamp on bottom with a crown-like symbol and a 'G' on the left side of the crown, an 'H' on the right side of the crown. Written above the stamp are is written freehand: 161/253/1011. But no artists name or maker's name.

When I moved into a new place, there was an old barn on the property. I found this in a box, in that barn about 5 or 6 years ago. I've never really known anything about it.

According to this site, it is Bavarian china, made between 1898 - 1943.
