Purchased poster identical to this one in 2004 and is on display.
The colors in my poster are very vibrant and true. There are no tears, stains or flaking of colors. Probably could use a good cleaning as my husbands name is written on the back of the poster in colored pencil. Currently rolled up in cheese cloth and kept in an acid free container. The poster was given to my husband by one of his elementary school teachers when she was cleaning out her classroom at the end of the school year. It had been kept in the attic of his home in a trunk for about 40 years until it was discovered about 2 years ago.
I have spoken to several art dealers on the phone who have advised me to get a professional appraisal but there is no one in my area who is knowledgeable about this type of art. I would appreciate input from anyone who may be of assistance in determining the value of my poster or who could direct me to someone possibly in the Houston, Texas area with expertise in this field.
