Utilitarian kerosene lamp, 1910s-1930s.  Used in the 1930s in southern MN because the land owner would not pay for one power pole to connect his renters' farm home to the REA's line along the highway.  This item is beautiful, gives off a nice glow and probably has a replacement glass shade.
