Watkins was well known in the esoterical book community in early England; and opened his own bookstore in 1897 in London England at Cecil's court. which. Is still open today. Cecil's Court is steeped in antiques, fine art, and specialist book shops as well. Just like John Watkins esoteric bookstore That very same Watkins who produced this book, Hid bookstore {Watkins Bookstore in England at Cecil's Court} is still open this very day . Ana Kingsford, the author of this book. was one of the first women in Britain to become a medical doctor, newspaper editor , and serves as the president of the theosophical Society , in England during the era of 1887.
