Description

This cup is suppose to be from my 3rd Great Grandmother.  The only marking on the cup is a gold 88. Saucer has no markings.  You can see light through the saucer's and cup's bottom.  Maybe bone china?  I am interested in finding the period of this cup in order to continue my genealogy research.  I was given this cup in 1969 from on of my grandmother's sisters who said the china had been divided among the many siblings.  Any help would be appreciated.

History In 1969 my (father's mom) grandmother's sister gave me this cup and stated, this belonged to your great, great, great grandmother Mrs. Katherine Risdon Duncan.
