Description

I  have an old Columbus showcase that came with our antique building when we purchased it.  Our building was built in 1904.

This piece is 8 ft long, 40 1/2 inches tall, and 24 inches deep.  This  piece has four wood and glass doors that enclose the back.  these doors slide.

The middle shelf is made up of slats, not solid.  There is no lighting.

i am trying to establish when Columbus Showcase first started making showcases.  I believe this is made before 1908.

Category General Antiques and Collectibles
Medium wood and glass. the glass is wavy looking, so I believe the entire piece to be original. It is in very good condition, but does have some surface scratches and an ink stain on top.
Distinguishing marks the brass name plate that notes it is a columbus showcase has embossed spider webs on it.
Condition Excellent
Size and dimensions of this item 8 foot long, 40.5 inches tall, 24 inches deep.
Weight unknown, but not too heavy. I can slide it myself.
