This appears to be a victorian era faux tortoise shell frame, usually made of wood and gesso. The glass appears to be convex, making it more desireable. It would be my guess that the frame originally held a photograph and was later replaced by the cupid print mounted on cardboard. Oval frames like this one with convex glass are slightly more rare that square ones with flat glass. The minor damage might devalue it somewhat, but I would leave it alone. It's my guess that the frame is what would appeal to a buyer more than the print, although there are collectors of victorian era prints of children and cupid. I sold one similar to this at $145. and think $125-$150 would be a fair appraisal.
