dining table with 6 chairs, leaf & pad. large buffet, small buffet & china cabinet. I was told it was from depression era, veneer overlay? I could not find a maker's stamp or anything so do not know who made the pieces.
That is BEAUTIFUL. I had to laugh at the fabric, it matches my bathroom wallpaper perfectly and really is not right for that style of furniture. No offense. :)
No idea about the furniture, hopefully someone else knows something.
This set is an example of what's referred to as the "Elizabethan Revival"style. Such pieces were loosley based on early English Elizabethan furniture, but were made from the turn of the 19th Century into the 1920's.Such pieces were made on both sides of the Atlantic. Value wise this one's better than most, comparable suites sell for under $2000.00 at auction
this set may have been made by Lifetime Furniture,Grand Rapids Bookcase & Chair Co. Hastings,Michigan.I have a set that is similar. You can see it on my posting of it at this site.
