desk with gold-embossed leather top

Description

This desk has 3 drawers on each side.  The bottom drawers are deeper and so have a false front "extra-drawer" appearance.  My wife says, "Cute as can be.  Bowed fromt.  Dark finish."

Small part of the gold seems to have rubbed off towards the front of the embossed lines.

Includes Duncan Phyfe lyre-back chair, no cushion, also 1940 or before, which might be worth more separately??  (So, note to appraiser:  How much is the chair worth separately?  We'll include the chair regardless.)
