I have a tiger oak double Larkin china hutch. It has two curved glass doors with shelves behind each, and a middle section with a mirror at the top, a drop-down desk leaf with cubby-holes behind the leaf, and 3 drawers below that. It is about 5 or 6 feet tall. It was my grandmother's. It has scroll work above the mirror and back above the glass doors.
I am having one of the curved glass panels in one of the doors replaced. It was broken by movers.
My mother had it refinished, which brought the tiger oak to view (before it looked black). She was offered $10,000.00 by the guy who she hired to refinish it (before she had it refinished). That was about 20 years ago.
