Dressing Table Set

Description

1920s dressing table set, very good condition but yellowed from age.
Set includes clothes brush, hair brush, mirror, rectangle jewellery box, two smaller square trinket boxes and tray. Only marking say made in England. All have peacock picture.

Vanity set

Early 20th century vanity sets unfortunately don't bring that much, under $100 at auction. But I think it's lovely!
To test if it's Bakelite, rub vigorously with your thumb. If you smell formaldehyde, it's Bakelite. Otherwise, maybe it's a celluloid or other type of acrylic or plastic.
