Description
  • This is a lovely piece of furniture with a 'Custom Cut 1/4 inch Safety Glass' to protect the rich finish.  It is a half moon beauty measuring 45" in width, 34" in height  (plus 3" backsplash), it is 24" deep.  It has a top drawer measuring 30" wide 19" deep and 3.5" in height.  Below the drawer are two doors opening to to large areas for storage (see pix).  These doors lock, one with a latch the other locking both with the original skeleton key.

It's hard to say who made it, Drexel pieces are generally marked though. Pieces like this have never really been out of production since the turn of the 19th Century, most like this tend to date from the second quarter of the 20th century. Values for them depend on the quality of construction and current condition. We retail mid range examples in good condtion in the $350-450.00 range, but they go at auction often for less than $200.00
