Description
1965 [approx] ceramic 'open mouth fish vase',has a pearl like lustre look finish on the outside- while, inside the vase [inside the fish's mouth]the pink/peachy colour blends into more of a pale flesh tone, down towards the bottom of the vase. The mouth, eyes & fins, are all finished with a gold edge/ outline. The vase weighs 474 grams, and is approx 17cm tall. The only possible distinguishing mark on the vase is a number 'stamped' into the bottom/base of the vase;& that is '823'.
My mum recieved the fish vase in 1965 as a wedding present, which she later gave to me. I've had the vase for about 9 or so years now, but haven't had any spare time to get an appraisal done till now.
