ive seen bowls like this go
ive seen bowls like this go for about 45.00,
i had a similar one , only with a square rim and handles....i found it abandoned in a house i moved into......it broke in a move and i have been looking for a "deal" to replace it ever since....
i was told it was part of the higher end 'depression" glass......with the truer colors of pink, green, blue, and the yellow-green of the "vasolene"glass
the lower end consisting of "carnival"glass which had that "shiny-metallic- like- finish" on top of the glass, as opposed to the color being "within"
Yes this is Depression

Yes this is Depression glass, originally very modestly priced glassware that became a big collectible in the 1980's and has since lost some of its luster. Depending on where you live these sell anywhere from $5- $50.00 at auction.

Lovejoy
