Hi all, I recently found a series of four small oil paintings at a store here in Australia, to me they are incredible (the photos are terrible) and I would have bought them regardless of who painted them but as they have hung on my walls for months now I'm more and more intrigued by the artist G.Whitman. Google results have not produced anything solid as these paintings have a very distinct asian theme unlike any of the standard, streams & snow capped mountains of the typical G.Whitman results. Any input would be greatly appreciated, they are only roughly 30cmx25cm, oil on canvas with handmade frames of varying types of timber.
