Long Description
Antique Hand Carved stool in Mahogany wood, the sides have fish carved in either side with spectacular detail. The feet of stool are paw claws. The upholstery looks to be original. The upholstery has a deep dark red, velvet color, & floral detailing. There’s an imperfection in cushion & some cosmetic wear on stool. Brass ring on underside of stool. Stool swivels. The back bar also rotated freely. Carved “II” visible on underside of seat.
History
This item was recently acquired from an estate sale. It was formerly being used as a piano seat at a pump organ. It was in the former owners family for a long time. Nothing else is known about this seat.
