Description

I have a sword i stumbled across through a friend that strongly resembles a ames civil war saber or a tiffanys but i cant find any markings on it. It is definently old as the shieth and blade show some age but i have no idea who made it how much its worth or even how i can sell it as i'm needing money if it turns out to be real or lagitimate. Theres drawn etching in the side of the blade each side. I know it was hammered because the stem inside the handle has hammering marks.

Category Militaria
Medium steel
Distinguishing marks fancy flowery etching on sides of blade seems hand drawn either during when it was made or after definently a custom made as it has markings of hand forging.
