Doesn't anyone have haviland savvy? halp...

CH stands for Charles. The mark on the bottom dates from 1941. Items older than this sell regularly for well under $50.00 online, newer ones for 20.00-30.00.

Oh, wow...I would not sell any piece for that price. It was my understanding that Charles haviland retired in 1881 and pieces after that were marked with added CFH/GDM, for Gerald,Dufraisseix, and Morel, the gentlemen who took over after his retirement. This is not a new piece, but an old one that was never used. thank you for your comment.

Ah, HA! The mark is from 1879-89, according to Ebayguides on older haviland markings.

Decoration mark of Charles Field Haviland in black, brown or blue was from 1859-1881. It was used in RED only by Gerard, Dufraisseix Abbot 1900-1941. If there is no other porcelain mark it is probably by Robert Haviland and C. Parlon company after 1941. Your red mark has "Limoges, France" printed under it. That is from 1941 according to the Haviland site. When dating porcelain you not only have to look at the mark but at the style of the piece. The only thing you can trust for info on Ebay is the auction prices. You see what you get for that tureen there and get back to me. Good luck.
