Description

I have been collecting Cloverleaf pieces for a while now, and I recently noticed a difference in a few of my pieces. Some of my footed sherbet dishes have the cloverleaf design stippled into the outside of the dish, with additional design on the underside of the foot. Others have the design on the INSIDE of the dish, with NO design on the foot. I noticed that the footed sherbets, saucers, and luncheon plates are all affected. I have more pieces with the design on the outside than the inside. In my pjotos, it is very difficult to tell, as this is a textural difference. But for what it is worth, the ones that appear darker in color (The set on the RIGHT) are the ones with the design on the outside.

NOTE: There is NO actual difference in color. They were simply different distances from the light source when I took the picture.

Is one set a later run of the pattern, or possibly a reproduction? Please help!

Thank you,

Maggie
