Help Identify Vintage Radio- is it Federal?

By sweet serendipity, 7 November, 2011
Description

It does work.  The only hint I could find was a partial label on the bottom with the Federal Telephone and Radio mark.  I did open the back and while it was difficult to see past the wire thing as shown in the third picture, it looks like there are 5 tubes (and lots of dust).  I am trying to find any information I can on this radio, manufacturer, year, value.
