History
My mother (1917-2012) told me that she bought this tea set in an antique shop in the 1940s -- cannot be sure of where, but probably Texas or New Mexico. I don't think that it is particularly valuable except in the sense of nostalgia. My mother appreciated Asian art and over the years acquired many objects of art when she and my father resided in the Pacific islands and Southeast Asia.
My daughters have asked me to leave some information to describe certain items that have been passed down to me that they associate with their memories of their grandmother. My goal is to leave "story" about each and to give them some idea value if the item is to be sold.
I have be dawdling on the internet without success, so if you can offer any information or direct me to a source, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.
