This machine was originally sold by the C.A. Wood Co. in Philadelphia. I believe the year sold was 1890. This is NOT a Singer machine. Rather, this is one of the falsly advertised machines. I believe this machine was made by the National Sewing Machine Company. This machine, while relatively complete, is in need of restoration. The treadle is as smooth as silk in its action and the sewing machine works is also very smooth. The finish can only be considered marginal at best. It needs to be stripped, repainted and re-decaled. I am looking for an idea of what to price this unit at in case I want to sell it. Thank you in advance.
