Hungerford Desk

I have a solid mahogany desk with a date stamped on the back of 7-30-47. At least I think it is a date. Right above that, it has v-907. Inside the center drawer are tags, as shown in the photos. The brass hardware (drawer pulls) is all there in perfect condition. The desk is solid and sturdy. Unfortunately, it is badly scratched in areas and even has a couple names carved in the top. Also a spot that looks like a burn or something.
