Hi, This has been hanging on my office wall for almost 18yrs. It was gifted to me in the early 90's by my neighbor who passed " She knew I liked it and instructed her children to give it to me. I have absolutely no idea what it's original purpose was as all the labels have been lost to time. What I do know. The front is a lacquer wood cut of Kegon Falls near Nikko Japan the characters on front translate roughly to Nikko San "Nikko Mountain". I can approximate it to the 50's as it was gifted to the original owner @ that time other than that I have no idea.
