Description I bought this chair 2 years ago at a yard sale. A friend said it may be an English Windsor chair. The chair is all dark wood. Turned rail's on backrest and legs. Carved seat. 2 turned support rail's in " V " shape behind backrest. Curved arms. The measurements are 40" h x 22" w x 19" d. The condition is good. Normal use wear on arms and seat. Seat also has a crack in the wood on front corner but is still intact. Very sturdy construction. Please tell me something about this chair and its value.

Your chair is a 20th century reproduction of a Windsor chair, most of these date from the first quarter of  the 20th century and were mass produced items, what you paid is about what they go for at  the low end at auction.
