Bought at auction due to its beauty but have no idea of value or history or even if its ivory yet, i can test by UV or hot needle but just thought to ask first, it has a nice design on all sides and the base with the signature also, the top of its head is of but with it so i can see its made from some form of bone/tusk and also made from various pieces, not one piece, some as small as 2" sq or less and the staff and right hand are inserted not a one piece carving, Its very beautiful but looks antique and i hope it is as im very anti tusk and would only have something antique ivory
