Description
I have a J. B. Van Shiver Co Table and Chairs set. It includes 4 regular chairs and 2 captains chairs. There is also a card top for the top of the table. The card top is approximately 1/2 inch thick. I also have a leaf for the table. I believe that the chairs may have been reupolstered. There is a little plate on the bottom of some of them that says J. B. Van Shiver Co. I have no idea of the value or even if there is any value. Any ideas?

J. B. Van Shiver opened in 1881 and was closed due to bankruptcy in 1984. They were mainly in NJ, NY and PA I believe. All of the chairs are very sturdy. Some of the chairs have the original company name plate on them.
