When I saw this piece I fell in love with the delicate colors and the beautiful handpainted birds. The painting depicts a water scene with plants and birds.
Light shines through the porcelain. It has a bamboo shaped handle that used to have gold overglaze. There is a lot of nice gold on rim.
The only makers marks are the knaji in the photo. It has a crack visible in the photo of the single bird, runs from lip through the birds tail.
There are 2 types of birds, I believe the 2 black winged ones are kingfishers, would like to know what the larger single bird is.
Any information appreciated.
