how would i go about restoring the mirror

The cost of having the mirror resilvered would exceed the value of the box, Just have a local glass shop cut a new one to fit. You can always keep the old  glass and store it.

Thankyou very much. I have been looking for a replacement mirror but will look into that.

Where would one find the tack used for the foot?

There is a company called Van Dykes that sells restoration hardware, they have a website, but I don't have their address.

What would the monetary value of this jewely box?

Submitted by Lovejoy

Not much value I'm afraid, might go for $150.00 to the right buyer.

Thankyou for the reply. It is to be passed down to my daughter, so I was just curious. so I was curious if it was worth anythin?
