Description
Recently found a Joe Rosenthal photo of the flag raising at Iwo Jima. Knowing the history on the photo, it came from my wifes great uncle who was a career marine & served in WWII.He passed away several years ago & this was found hidden behind another photo in a frame of his wife. It is signed in the left lower corner "Joe Rosenthal AP". Was curious to value or how to tell it is orignal. it appers to be a very old photo.
