John Scott Lamp company opened in 1957 Fairfield California. Mr Scott enjoyed collecting and restoring Railroad lamps. In the 1970's they made reproduction lamps with Duplex oil burners that had been manufatured in England and installed in the US. This company is still in business today.

Your very welcome. I am not personally looking to buy a piece like this. I would recommend posting it in the classifieds on this website. Other online free marketplaces like facebook marketplace, kijiji, craigslist would be good places to post it as well. The problem with pieces like this you have just mentioned (It doesn't fit with my decor). The benefit you have now is that you have gained the information, that will add to its sale by valuation and research. Warmest Regards TJG
