Description I'm really just looking to see if someone can help me with the age of this desk. Would like to have some kind of history for the grandkids. Needs cosmetic work and a little tightening, but otherwise sturdy.

Desks like this are 20th century items and were used for a considerable time in public schools depending on the local school boards budget ;~) Comparable desks were still in use when I started public school in 1960 that had been there since before WW2. Modern formed plywood starts to appear in general use for furniture by the late 1920's. Lovejoy
