Description

Only thing on bottom of table:

LANE

Altavista, Virginia

Design Pat No. 185371

Style No. 900 94

Serial No. 462280

I am looking for any history on this table and I was also wondering if it is worth anything before I decide to sell it locally or on a website.  Any info would help to see if its worth the trouble because it looks like real wood and thats hard to find these days let alone Made in USA.  Table also has one drawer.  Thanks in advance!

Category American Furniture
Condition Excellent
Date Period Early to Mid 1900's?
Weight Heavy
History Was Grandmother's coffee table and I sadly just don't have room for it anymore.

Lane is best known for its cedar chests, but make regular line of furniture as well. Tables like yours genrally date from the third quarter of the 20th century, the endtables usually sell for under $100.00 at auction.
