Description

This board was purchased around 2005 from a dealer who presumed it to be Edwardian period.  It came with the checkers pieces and containers.

The board has a matt varnish finish and shows some uneven sun fading.  The pieces are also wood.  The containers are metal plated (silver? chrome?) on a non-ferrous base metal.

Any help with the date, origin, or any other information would be much appreciated. Thanks.
