Lifetime Cedar Chest from Montgomery Ward, features:     Push button snap lock, special interlocking corner joints help prevent cedar vapor from escaping and give extra strength and durability, Five-Ply top to prevent warpage, heat fused veneers are water resistant, U.S. Government Standard 3/4" Tennessee Red Cedar body, Reinforced Corner Lock keeps chest rigid and solid, dust seal aids in keeping cedar aroma in and dust out.

These chests first made their appearance before world war one, but were made well into the 1940's.  Value wise in the current market-$200.00-$350.00.

Thank you for your reply!  I was curious how much these chests would be worth even though I have no intention of selling.  I was lucky to recieve this chest during the closing of my grandparents house after they had both passed away and it is very special to me.  I believe my grandmother had repainted the outside but I am looking to redo it and I'm not quite sure how I want to go about that yet.
