Description
This is a very beautiful light green jade horse statue. I have not been able to find one similar to it. The head is held high & the right front leg is bent at the knee while the left front leg is tucked under. The detail of the face is very acurate. The base, which is a dark wood stained cherry or mahogany, has indentions so that the statue sit firm in the base.

Re: Light Green Jade Horse Statue
Hi,
Did you ever find anything out regarding the value of your horse? I have one that is very similar, but darker greens. I've been curious about the same things you asked! Thanks!
Re: Light Green Jade Horse Statue
Values for these are all over the map, depending on origins, vintage and quality of the workmanship. There have been huge numbers of these things imported from third world countries in recent years, some wholesaling for under $50.00.
