Description

This appears to be an old oil painting by J.G Brown and J Howard Collier named Little Bo Peep.

When I look up closely with magnifying glass I can see the paint and some areas of crazing and paint that flaked off.  The picture is framed in a wooden frame with a copper covered with some type of material for hanging.

I found the name of the painting after researching the artists on the internet.  Could not find any information on the original painting but only found posters for sale of this picture.

You rally need to spend the money and have this apprased by an expert, in my opinion you have an original and should keep it safe..it is well worth the cost.

Sotheby's in  phili did respond to me and asked for additional pictures.  I just sent them pictures of the artists signatures for their colleagues to view.  I should hear back in a few weeks if they are willing to do an approasal.

Thanks for your suggestion.
