Description Appears to be hand carved, edges are uneven. Very smooth texture. Metal rim is glued on. Some glue has ran down the inside of the jar. Glue appears to be a dark yellow color, and very thick. Hole where spout is appears to be drilled or carved out, edges are rough. No markings. Looks similar to Japanese Saki Sets, but I have not been able to find any this nice, or with a handle on the pitcher.

Most stone sets of this type are made in Mexico for the tourist market along with stone chess sets and figurines. Values tend to be very modest unless there is a provenance. This one is Onyx.

Hello! I have the exact set which was broken during a move.  I am inquiring about the cost of the pitcher, if possible.
