Description I am wondering what this piece is worth as I do not know if it is an original or a reproduction. I also need a forum in which to sell it. Similar items sell on ebay, but I do not feel comfortable selling on ebay until I know if it is an original. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

Minton was established in 1793 and made porcelain, earthenware and majolica etc. I can not tell you if it is an original but I can tell you that the mark on yours dates from 1862-1871, after that they added an "s" and made it Minton's. Look carefully out in the sun at an angle and see if there are any other impressed marks anywhere on it. Look for symbols, numbers, letters etc. With the colors on the bottom of the item you may not bee seeing them because they may have filled in with glaze. Minton used these from 1842 onwards to date their items. Should be a set of 3 for month, potter & year.
