Mintons Genevese Blue Willow pattern Pitcher

By therealmjtb, 23 November, 2008
Description

This is a pitcher with the blue willow pattern.  it was my grandmother's, who sailed to the United States from Europe in the late 1800's at the age of 16 years.  Amazingly, it has remained in perfect condition.  Never thought much about it, always used as a decorative piece with a smaller pitcher.  The smaller one has no markings on the bottom, so I doubt that it is connected to this larger one.

Any information about the Mintons-Genevese manufacturers would be appreciated!  And I thought that this pattern was connected with a chinese pattern?  Thank you.
