I own the same exact fountain pen for almost twenty years now. In going to the pen shows (LA Pen Show in Manhattan Beach) and seeing them at various antique shows for sale, unfortunately these beautiful Meisterstuck don't seem to appreciate in value since they are still being sold.
I believe this is the case because Mont Blanc has such high manufacturing standards that the materials really haven't changed much or degraded in any way to make the older models more collectible.
You can find the 146 M anywhere from $300.00-$500.00, and they were selling for approximately $1000.00 when purchase new 20+ years ago.
If you are truly interested in collectible fountain pens that do tend to increase in value, check out the Mont Blanc Writer's Edition series (Bernard Shaw, Hemingway, Cervantes, etc.).
