Item Details

Description

It's in the original box marked "HF-0999, MONTEITH BOWL, F.B. Rogers Silver Company" and a label on the side that reads " Imported by F.B. Rogers Silver Company, Taunton, Mass 02780 - Commerce Calif 90022, Japan." The box is a little worn but the piece is in good condition. I'm not sure if silver polish would clean up the parts that look tarnished. On the bottom it is stamped "FB Rogers, Silverplate". It is pretty ornate around the top half of the bowl and has a handle on each side. It's pretty heavy; I'm not sure of the size but it's a bowl on a pedestal and the top decoaration is of flowers and leaves in a vase perhaps with scrolled cut-out holes (8) near the top.
