Murphy chair company rocking chair

Looking to find what year the chair was made and if it has any value. Was gonna restore the chair but decided to hold off and see of it would be wise to have someone with more experience restore it to preserve its value. I've found quite a bit on the company but nothing about the chair in question. The bottom is stamped with No 687.
