Description

The table appears to be made of oak, with a veneer-like checkerboard top. The two pedestals are bulbous-like and the stretcher in between is very low to the gound. The table has two leaves (draws) that extend from either end that just about double the table's length. There are no metal parts that allow it to be extended, leaves are attached to wooden dowel-like fixtures that slide in and out. It is in good to fair condition, as there are a few blemishes on the veneer top where it looks like someone attempted to sand it down. Otherwise, it s a gorgeous table. Not certain of the country of origin or the time frame.

History I purchased it at an estate sale in Georgia. The owner prior to me purchased an entire New England estate and this table was part of that purchase.
