Item Details

Description

Antique P&A oil lamp converted to electric in early-1900s as the wiring, which I replaced, contained cloth insulation. Painted globes with signature NX, and P&A stamped on the bottom of a brass leg with 66 also printed on one leg. Made in US of America printed on the wick adjusting knob. The burner has been alter to allow for the bulb-socket. I kept the old, ragged wiring and old socket after installing a safer cord to allow practical use of the lamp
