Genuine antique 'Ko Do' (Old Bronze), 'Maria Kannon' (http://www.aisf.or.jp/~jaanus/deta/m/mariakannon.htm) statue in mint (but aged) condition from Edo period around mid-late 18th century. This statue is the great and rare example of the real Worship image of 'Kakure Kirishitan' (Hidden Christians : http://www.answers.com/topic/kakure-kirishitan) at the time. Moreover, this Maria kannon is made by bronze ,and it is an extremely rare because the most are made by porcelain as usual. Please see this beautiful statue carefully, feel the total patina ,and understand its scarcity value.
